Project Manager - Electrical - Sydney

With a nationwide profile and skilled professional team, our Client is well known in Australia for delivering electrical, communications, security and wireless infrastructure solutions. Over the last 30 years in the Industry, our client has methodically established offices in all major Australian capital cities, delivering high-tech communications and electrical cabling solutions. Recently, as a subsidiary of a Global Energy Company they have continued to expand and now seek to appoint an Electrical Project Manager in NSW.

The Role

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the installation of cabling solutions, in particular data network cabling, electrical solutions, security installations, data centre infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, voice systems and cable assembly. In addition to subcontractor management you will also be responsible for key stakeholder management and be able to consult and work with the client to achieve desired outcomes. You will be a key point of contact for the client and be responsible for managing the contract both with the client and sub-contractors.You will utilise your strategic business acumen to achieve Safety, Revenue and Profit Targets on every project.

You Will Bring

• NSW  Electrical Supervisors Licence
• BICSI/ACMA Cabling Licence Qualification
• Project Management Qualifications
• First Aid Certificate
• Ability to Estimate Accurately
• Solid understanding of the relevant codes and industry standards
• Minimum 5 years post trade experience in Electrical, Data, Automation Projects or other Building Services
• A current and valid Australian Driving Licence
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Project Management role with proven experience managing projects in excess of $2 million on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Commercial acumen and will have proven experience meeting business and project targets
• Ability to instil and maintain a high level Quality and Safety on the project
• Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated Subcontractor management experience
